Embodied Joy

Embodied Joy gatherings are intimate, facilitated experiences that restore connection to self, body, Earth, and community.

Embodied Joy gatherings are intimate, facilitated experiences that restore connection to self, body, Earth, and community.

Through ritual, somatic practice, creative expression, nature-based meditation, and collective presence, these gatherings create space for what often gets lost in the rush of modern life: intimacy with your body, your desires, rest, pleasure, and one another.

This work is rooted in the understanding that joy is not something we chase or achieve. It is something we remember when we feel safe, present, and at home in ourselves.

Prosperity begins when we remember how to feel at home in ourselves.

Request a Gathering

Embodied Joy gatherings are offered by request and shaped with care for each group.

Gatherings are held locally in North Carolina or by invitation in other locations.

Each gathering is guided by:

  • The intention of the moment

  • The people coming together

  • The setting (indoor, outdoor, home, land-based, or shared space)

Whether you’re imagining a birthday circle, an intimate gathering with friends, a restorative experience for parents, a nature-based meditation, or a values-aligned community offering, we begin with a conversation to ensure the gathering feels aligned.

What to Expect

When you book a consultation call, we’ll explore:

  • Your vision and intention

  • Group size and context

  • The type of experience that would best support your gathering

  • Availability and pricing

If the gathering feels aligned, a custom proposal is shared. These experiences are held with respect for consent, boundaries, and each participant’s pace. Embodied Joy gatherings are not therapy, but they are deeply relational and thoughtfully facilitated.

  • Calleen H. Director, NCCU

Joy's ecotherapy session provided a meaningful pause from daily routines—a chance to breathe, reflect, and re-center in support of mental and emotional well-being. Through shared stories and quiet reflection, participants were reminded they’re not alone in their challenges. The space encouraged deep listening and mutual support, helping to build trust and psychological safety.
